Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

The Quality Control Technician will work closely with the Quality Manager to monitor and ensure all products meet the established quality standards within the manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include walking the factory floor to work directly with machinists, operators, and welders, ensuring adherence to quality standards, conducting spot checks on product quality, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Hard Skills

  • Blueprint/GD&T reading

  • Precision Measuring with Micrometers, surface plates, calipers, height gauges/drop indicators, comparators, etc.

  • Control of nonconforming product

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in York, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

This role operates in a manufacturing environment which can be hot during summer and cold in winter. The facility promotes a culture of respect, integrity, humility, and teamwork. Employees are encouraged to develop professionally, with opportunities for additional training and certifications. The team size varies from 3 to 8 people depending on the job and press area. Personal protective equipment is provided, and safety is a priority in this metal stamping facility.
